A Little Bit About Me
Assalamu Alaikum.
I’m 41, recently divorced, Fiji-born and raised in Australia, now living in New Zealand. I hold Australian and NZ citizenship and work as a government consultant specialising in Employment Law. I’m settled, stable, and clear about what I want in this next chapter of life.
My faith is central to who I am. I pray five times a day, speak to Allah daily, and strive to live Islam spiritually — not just culturally. Deen gives me grounding, direction, and purpose. I maintain a healthy balance between deen and dunya, but I will never compromise my connection with Allah.
I have a traditional mindset paired with compassion and emotional intelligence. I’m naturally a people-person — extroverted, playful, and warm — but I also value quiet reflection. Weekends are often spent reading, resetting, running, hiking, and staying active. Growth, for me, is both inward and outward.
I don’t have children yet, but I genuinely want to have children within a loving, stable marriage, InshaAllah. I’m open to marriage with intention — not rushed, but serious. At this stage of life, clarity matters.
